Old School Values To Remember
Never procrastinate

A true gentleman never keeps anyone waiting. Not just those above him, even people who work under him know that a gentleman respects their time. Such a man knows that even the richest person on the planet cannot buy more time. Think Amitabh Bachchan. The man dedicates his time assiduously to each and every commitment of his even to this day. If you want to earn respect, start by respecting time.
Know life’s little tricks

Most men today are either nose-deep into their books or videogames. In the process, they miss out on manly things that their fathers and grandfathers simply knew how to do. Examples include how to grow plants, remove weeds, clean the house, fix the bulb, change tyres and kill rodents. Man up and learn how to do these tasks.
Settle scores

Today’s generation seems stuck on the notion that all is hunky dory with the world. They let their bosses push them needlessly, their peers pressure them into doing silly things and their parents coax them to do stuff they don’t really want to. The result? Men have become wimpy today. It’s time to change that and be the man you are meant to be. Mean, brash and even a little arrogant. Most importantly, do the stuff that you want, not what others want you to do.
Aim for the best

Another fallout of being a wimpy man is that you settle for anything you get. Whether it’s the best employee award or the best marathon runner, no record must be too high for you. Create a plan and chase your goals. And if you come even second place, discard the trophy till you get your hands on the gold prize.
Value your family

Our modern communication age has made us self-absorbed in our own world. So many times we forget anniversaries and miss catching up with real people because our social media and games keep us busy. Get out of this rut and make real connections. Start with your family. Give them time and listen to their problems. Value them before it’s too late.
